Palm Jumeirah is Nakheel's man-made island off the Jumeirah coast, laid out as a trunk, sixteen fronds and a crescent, and linked to the mainland by road and monorail.
The trunk holds apartment buildings, the Golden Mile and Nakheel Mall; the fronds are lined with beach villas; the crescent carries resort hotels such as Atlantis and One&Only.
Current projects are largely branded residences and penthouses — Dorchester Collection, Como, Six Senses, Ellington and others — on the trunk and the crescent.
